Blue Warning Lights
Did you know that in Pennsylvania, a flashing blue light on a vehicle is a firefighter responding to an emergency? We don’t use these in any non-emergency situation. Even though this is only a “courtesy” light, please give us the right away whenever possible because you never know if we are going to help any of your family or friends who may be in danger. In so many situations seconds do count and being able to get to the emergency quicker really can save lives!
Ladder 74 In Service!
On May 12th, 2018 Chalfont Fire Company officially placed the new Ladder 74 into service. The Pierce Enforcer Ladder truck is station at Station 74 located at 1034 Schoolhouse road in New Britain township and will give the fire company many great years of helping keep our community safe. Stop up on the third Thursday night of any month and check out our new Ladder!
RIP Chief!
It is with heavy hearts that the Chalfont Fire Company announces the passing of Life Member and Past Assistant Chief Richard K. (Dick) Cadwallader. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all of us here at Chalfont Fire Company. Rest easy Chief! We’ll take it from here
New Ladder 74
After just over 20 years of service to the Chalfont and surrounding communities, the “old” Ladder 74 was put out of service for the final time and has since been sold to another volunteer fire company in South Carolina. The new truck has arrived from Pierce Manufacturing in Appleton Wisconsin and in the coming weeks will be put into service to continue serving our local community.
