Did you know that in Pennsylvania, a flashing blue light on a vehicle is a firefighter responding to an emergency? We don’t use these in any non-emergency situation. Even though this is only a “courtesy” light, please give us the right away whenever possible because you never know if we are going to help any of your family or friends who may be in danger. In so many situations seconds do count and being able to get to the emergency quicker really can save lives!
Congratulations Mike!
Mike (Stewie) Miller has been a dedicated member of our Fire Company family for many years now and, just recently, has been hired as a full time Firefighter/EMT as a member of the 71st recruit class for the Henrico County Division of Fire in Virginia. Congratulations Mike and we wish you all the best as you follow your dreams in your new career!

RIP Chief!
It is with heavy hearts that the Chalfont Fire Company announces the passing of Life Member and Past Assistant Chief Richard K. (Dick) Cadwallader. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all of us here at Chalfont Fire Company. Rest easy Chief! We’ll take it from here
New Ladder 74
After just over 20 years of service to the Chalfont and surrounding communities, the “old” Ladder 74 was put out of service for the final time and has since been sold to another volunteer fire company in South Carolina. The new truck has arrived from Pierce Manufacturing in Appleton Wisconsin and in the coming weeks will be put into service to continue serving our local community.
